William Mason Barnes Jr., son of the late William & Shirley
Barnes Sr., was born on April3rd 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland. He
departed this life suddenly on Friday, December 21, 2018.
William received his education in Baltimore City and County
Schools. He serviced in the United States Army from 1991-1992.
William worked several jobs from The Maryland Spice Company
to doing home improvement jobs. He was baptized at Mt.
Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.
William was known as Bill, Disco and/ or Will. He had a sense of
humor that was out of this world. William loved singing old
school songs and harmonizing as if he was one of the Whispers.
William also loved roller skating, back in the day house parties,
and playing basketball.
.' In April 1993 William married Tracey Medley and from this
union a son, William Mason Barnes III "Trey" was born.
Williams leaves to mourn his wife Tracey Medley Barnes, their
/
son, William III "Trey"; his uncle, William Owens (Linda); two
sisters, Shirley Steele "Precious" and Mary Ann Jones (Richard);
one brother, Kevin Barnes Sf. (Adrienne); nieces, Taneisha Steele,
Lakisha Cruz, Heaven and Christian Barnes; nephews, Ralph
Steele "Man", Steven Steele "Mikey" and Kevin Barnes Jr.; eight
great nieces and nephews, five great-great nieces and nephews,
cousins, and a host of relatives, extended family, and friends. He
also leaves to mourn a special friend, Danita Stinton.
