Not sure what to say?

I miss you. I wish we had more time together and i´ll never understand why you left. Maybe one day we´ll have a chance to discuss it but I still think of you all the time. I hope wherever you are, it´s with people you love and people that love you.

I miss Bill a lot. He helped me get into the city of San Diego. We worked together for many years. As a fellow naval officer we also worked together. I miss him a lot. He was one of the smartest people I have even known. I visit his grave in San Diego on occasion I shared his military views.

To Bills family
I would like you to know Bill helped me as a fellow naval officer to join the city of San Diego. He was a good friend and confidant. He had similar military combat experience like me Such experiences are life long and a strong bond. I miss him a lot. Larry Trame CDR USNR retired and One of the many fire chiefs/battalion chiefs for San Diego Fire Rescue. His efforts are remembered by many of his coworkers.

In nearing the 2nd anniversary of Bill's passing, I would like to pass along my deepest sympathy to Bill's family.
Bill was once married to my sister and even though some situations don't work out it is important for me to let you know that Bill was very much loved and respected by the Rivera family. Even though we had lost contact throughout the years we continue to include Bill in our family memories.
Bill was always a very fun loving man when around family and close...

I wanted to offer an expanded obituary for my brother, Bill. Primarily his friends and coworkers assembled these words. And my family is most grateful for their support as we grieve our loss.

Raised in Upper Black Eddy, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Bill moved to San Diego while serving for over a decade in the U.S. Navy where he worked in industrial facilities, shipyards,...

The Friends of Famosa Slough has lost an energetic Board Member and caring environmentalist. Bill would attend our meetings, tired after a long day at his job, and actively engage in our discussions, offer unique insights, and contribute to making our plans and projects that much better. His infectious smile and willing attitude was there at our work parties without fail. He cheerfully took on whatever job he was assigned—even those that most others avoided. We wish his family and friends the...

I'm one of the people who didn't know Bill Bartleman as well as they would have liked. I met Bill through business and later from his involvement with Famosa Slough. From the start, I was very impressed with his intelligence, confidence and directness. But even beyond that, I just liked him. He had a sense of values that he was willing to fight for and he made a difference in this community. I will always admire him for that.

Bill and I served together on the Friends of Famosa Slough Board of Directors and worked together many times, restoring Famosa Slough. He was a hard worker, a pleasure to work with, and is sorely missed at Famosa Slough.
