William Basco Sr.

I am sadden to hear of the passing of Mr. Tom. His wife Patsy was my home room teacher at Seaway. I remember Mr. Tom driving the bus. After Camille his house was on the levee on the Gulf side and they moved it back by the levee on the Mississippi side. They were very nice people and made A's in my book, that's better than I did. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family through this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Basco passing away. He was my bus driver for summer recreation in Empire. He was a very patient man considering how many "rowdy kids" were on the bus with him. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

What can possibly said of tOM, EXCEPT THAT HE WAS AN EXCEPTIONAL PERSON. iN ALL THE WAYS A FINITE HUMAN CAN BE. he was a dear friend, and we worked together with the kids on many occasions for many years. He will be missed, more than anyone could guess/ Mary, my heart goes out to you and your family. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers always. May Tom rest in God's light, and may he put peace in your heart. my love I send you.

So sad this has happened. I did not know Tom but am a good friend of Mary since high school. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the family members involved in this tragedy.
