Not sure what to say?

Deepest condolences to the family and those closest to Bill. I met Bill many years ago on my first posting to Ottawa as part of the ride, later renewing contact upon another posting. He was a gentleman of the first order, always taking time to catch up whenever our paths would cross. He had such an interest in people, told very rich stories and always parted with a smile leaving those he touched having a better day. I never met Bill, except through emails, as I edited a book on the Force. He was most helpful with my project; I appreciated his historical depth as several articles he authored for The Quarterly surfaced in my work.

Dear Anne and family, I am so sorry to hear about Bill's passing. My deepest sympathies and loving thoughts.

I had the privilege of knowing Bill while working in the RCMP Archives Section from 91 to 98. The Historical and Archives Sections collaborated on many projects. I remember him as a person always generous with his time and willing to share his vast knowledge of the Force. My sincere condolences to the Beahen Family.

My deepest sympathies to Katie and family.
I still remember having had the privilege of meeting your dad at SPX parent teacher interviews. May the thoughts and prayers of many sustain you in the days ahead.

Dear Jane,
We were so sorry to hear about Bill's death. We remember our Christmas visit at Round Lake and the warm welcome you and Bill gave us. We stayed up up late talking with Bill. His stories about the Camino were inspiring. As was his hospice work. And remember when you and Bill came to Hornby Island where we shared an evening around the campfire. All good memories of a good man. We are thinking of you and Bill's children and family with sorrow and caring.

Bill was a much loved and respected volunteer at Elisabeth Bruyère Hospital. He touched many lives with his generosity of spirit and compassionate presence. We miss him dearly. Sincere condolences to his family and friends on behalf of the Therapeutic Support Services team, Bruyère Continuing Care.

Dear Jane and the Beahen Family
May the beautiful memories you hold in your heart give you comfort and strength in the days to come. Bill's love will be with you always. I feel very privileged to know such a wonderful individual.
My Sincere Sympathy

I am so pleased to have met such a wonderful family. Jane you are a true hero in looking after Bill, and what a wonderful job you did. My sympathies to all, and may his spirit life with you forever.
June, the Nurse.
