I am so sorry to hear of Bills passing. I am praying for his family and for all our brothers and their families.

Jenn and the John Beck Family, I only met Satch a couple of times, but always found him to be friendly and humorus. I had the utmost respect for him. I'm sure Jenn and John and his family will be forever grateful for the fond memories that Satch left with them.

We were blessed by Satch´s courage, heroism, creativity, love, patriotism and his sense of humor. He walked among us and we will never forget him. He is with God... One day we will see him again.

Jenny and the Beck family we have lost a true american patriot he embodies the saying duty honor and country over the years we had conversations about vietnam and it would make the hair on my arms stand up and pit in my stomach no one could not even imagine what you did on that battlefield all things must come to a end but you will always be remembered may god rest your soul until we meet again my friend

I'll never forget one Sunday afternoon watching a TV Program on ABC called "DAY ONE". The episode was broadcast back in 1993 and titled: "Return to LZ X -RAY" Ia Drang Valley. Both American soldiers and North Vietnam soldiers met on site commemorating the 25 year reunion of that battle. As I was sitting watching with my wife I turned and said to her, "Honey, I know that guy, I drink beer with him at the Steelton Italian Club". She just rolled her eyes. At the end of show the credits rolled;...

Satch was a true Steelton legend. He will be missed by many. Condolences to Jen, John and the Beck family. May his memory be eternal!
