I was shocked to learn of Bill's sudden illness and death. Bill Becknell touched so many lives in so many unique ways. I was first introduced to Mr B in the 7th grade. I had just moved to Mt. Pleasant and needed a venue to meet people and to give me the confidence to succeed in a new school. Mr. B helped me find my voice.
