Not sure what to say?

He had a rare gift of teaching with his humor, not giving up on you if you didn't understand, and being respectful and commanding respect in the nicest ways possible. I hated math, esp algebra, but due to his being the most wonderful of instructors, I learned, and used it as a nurse later in life! RIP.

It is in looking for another obituary that I happened upon Mr. Bedard's. Just yesterday (9-30-18) I repeated his words, "Don't con me!" to a loved one!
What a gentle giant -- by far the most kind-spirited teacher I have ever known and had the privilege of being instructed by. As one of his esteemed students, I was guilty of attempting to side track Mr. Bedard from the subject at hand, math!
Mr. Bedard was a great storyteller and before he realized his students derailed him again,...

Rest in peace, Sir. Thank you for your patience, guidance and wonderful stories, as my teacher and for your unselfish service to our country, as an American and proud mother of children who currently serve. May your family find peace in their memories of you.

He was a great teacher. My deepest condolences.

Not only a great teacher but a wonderful and loving father-in-law. The best storyteller, husband, father, and grandfather anyone could ask for. We will miss you so much. Love to you in heaven.

My condolences to the Bedard Family.

He was such a great teacher and a favorite of so many of us. Condolences to the family.

My deepest sympathy on the passing of a true gentleman and one of the finest teachers I ever had! His personality and wit made it a pleasure to learn in his class. Rest in Peace Mr. Bedard.

Sincere sympathy,
