Not sure what to say?

I worked for Bill at the Eagle in the '70s, and was a fellow Lenox resident for many years. As an editor, he had the valued qualities of being even tempered, precise, and well informed. I learned a lot from him. In Lenox, it was always enjoyable to run into him somewhere and have a good conversation about whatever topic came up.

May the God of comfort bring the family peace in their time of grief.

Bill and Sally were such lovely, smart, kind people and that is also how I remember their children, Jimmy, Chuck, Philip and Sarah. They were so helpful to my Aunt Judy Conklin Peters, Sally as her trusted attorney and Bill as her visitor who would read aloud to her once she lost her eyesight and even more importantly discuss any topic she wished--usually local news and history. I am so sorry for your loss and the loss to the town, of which they were so much a part.

Dear Bell family, sorry for your loss yet your Dad left many fond memories we all enjoy recalling....your Mom too. Peace and prayers.
