Not sure what to say?

I considered Bill a friend and distinguished member of a very small community whose contributions will be remembered long past his lifetime. Rest in Peace Bill.

Bill, I was privileged to work with you, and benefit from your excellent work and wise counsel, for the twenty years [1965 - 1985] we labored to keep the Attorney General's Office on an even keel. I missed you when you retired but carried on for another 15 years during which I enjoyed seeing you from time to time. You are one of the great ones Bill: you made a difference to me, and to that fine institution - our Office. God speed good friend.

Bill, you were a trusted friend and respected colleague over many decades. But more than anything else, your sage advice about personal matters left the biggest impression. Through this you live on and affect many whom you've never even met.

Bill, I always enjoyed our conversations at ERI. You were a loyal friend, mentor and colleague to all who had the pleasure of making your acquaintance. God Speed my friend. Rest in Peace.

Bill was a very unique and special person, the quality of man that you're blessed and privileged to meet few if any of in your life. A man of honesty, integrity and wisdom, his friendship will be sorely missed.

He showed me how to survive in a tough world where evil was always present. He taught me never to ignore evil and to not be afraid to tackle any...
