Nice day on the mountain

One of our favorite memories of Bill: at family reunions, he would bring out the banjo and lead us in singalongs around fires...or around the kitchen table. He was always a gracious host, opening his lovely home to our family. And patient - making no comment when 4 year old Erin spilled her morning orange juice on his oh-so-perfect work suit just before it was time for him to start his morning commute. Bill was one of the sweetest, funniest, kindest men I've ever had the honor of knowing. He was always welcoming when I came to the house to visit Jessica over the past 25 years that we've been friends. My heart goes out to the family during this difficult time.
