William J. "Bill" Berry

William J. "Bill" Berry, 80, a resident since 1956 of Smyrna, Georgia, a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, and a store manager for Big Giant and A&P Supermarkets for 50 years until his retirement in 1985, died on Sunday, October 29, 2000. The family will receive friends on Monday, October 30, 2000, 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., at Carmichael Funeral Home, 2950 King Street, Smyrna. Lying in state on Tuesday, October 31, 10 a.m. until time of funeral services at 11 a.m., at Smyrna First Baptist Church. Services will be officiated by Dr. Steve Kimmel. Burial will be at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 1841 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta, GA 30329-4049.
