William North Bertsche

I would like to express my condolences to Mr. Bertsche's family. He was a kind and lovely person. I will remember him with great fondness.

Bill's premature death is a great loss. As a leader, counselor, and teacher, he served as a warm and caring influence for his students and their families. Bill's work will be greatly appreciated, and he will be sorely missed, for a long time.

It is with deepest sorrow that we learned of Bill's passing. We will always remember him as a kind and giving person and take pride in his accomplishments as a fine educator and credit to his profession.

I so much enjoyed working with Bill at Fieldston. He made me laugh, he always had a joke, but most of all his compassion for and understanding of children is what made him stand out. I will miss him.

The entire Silverman family (Allie, Seth, Patty and Lorin) extend our sincere sympathies to the family on Bill's passing. He was a wonderful man who helped in the development of so many young people whose future lives and accomplishments owe much to his nurturing.
