Belvidere has lost a creative genius. William Beyer was a prolific poet who wrote on the beauty of nature, the Boone County Fair, and the human state.
I will miss your poetic, creative mind, your quiet and gentle ways, and your fabulous memory for movie trivia. I will remember you through the many poems which you shared with the community, and the sweet little cat memorabilia that you always found for me. May you have a peaceful journey. I will remember you always.
