William D. Beyer Sr., 90, died Monday October 21 at Baystate Medical Center. He was born in Holyoke, son of the late Robert and Jeannette Beyer and has lived in South Hadley for many years. He was a retired box pressman and was an Air Force veteran. He was predeceased by his wife Judith in 2017. He leaves his loving children William Jr. and his wife Suzanne of South Hadley. Karen Beyer of Chicopee, David Beyer of South Hadley, his brother Kenny Beyer of FL, two sisters Sylvia Burnett and Eilleen Shelton and his three cherished grandchildren Adam, David and Samantha. The funeral service will be Saturday November 16th at 1pm at the United Methodist Church in South Hadley followed by a graveside service with Military Honors at Village Cemetery. I was sorry to learn of Bill's passing. He was one of the nicest people I met when I first attended the Falls Congregational Church. We were on committees together, and he was diligent and steadfast in his love for the church. You are all in my prayers.
