Not sure what to say?

I worked for Bill during most of his Phoenix FBI tenure and we had a wonderful relationship. He was a good friend and I always enjoyed interacting with him. More recently, I looked forward to seeing him at the ex-FBI lunches, and was sad when his health limited his attendance. Bill was an FBI agent of the J. Edgar Hoover era which men are a lost breed.
Rest in Peace, my friend.

We wish to express our sympathy to Anita and the girls. We have special memories of Uncle Bill; from his visits to Iowa and the time we got to Scottsdale. Listening to all the stories as he showed us around the city. All the fun stories he would tell of his experiences in the military and the FBI. We will never forget this wonderful man.

Condolences to the family from Iowa. We are fondly remembering Uncle Bill and the good times we all had together. We were very sorry to hear of his passing. ~Dorothy & Ken Cappel, Sandy Haynes

We have missed Bill at the Granite Reef Senior Center Lunch program. His table was always a stopping point for us.We would share stories.
Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope.

He was my Uncle. I always looked up to him. He truly was "The Greatest Generation." Bea and I will always remember the wonderful times we spent in the Billing houses in Scottsdale. We will always remember the company of his family. I will always remember him with pride.

I was sorry to learn of Bill's passing in this morning's Arizona Republic. I met Bill many years ago in Detroit. He always had a smile and a kind word. When I had the good fortune to run into him in the Mc Cormick Ranch area a few years ago, he was still the same kind person I recalled from the earlier days. Jim Brown (Scottsdale, AZ)

I had the pleasure and honor of being Bill's doctor for a number of years. He had also been an associate of my father's during his FBI days. I always greatly enjoyed our conversations about the old days. He was one of those people who made the practice of medicine a happy experience.

We were so sorry to hear of Bill's passing on March 10th. I well recall his upbeat personality, his smile and it was a pleasure to be in his company for so many years during his tenure with the FBI. He will be missed by all those who worked with him and knew him as a comrade and friend. He was truly a gentleman and one of the good guys.
