William J. Billings

I have just discovered that Bill passed away on September 30. This is truly a sad day for me, as Bill and I were best friends from 1971 through 1983. I could always count on Bill for almost anything. I can only hope that he felt the same way about me. We lost contact after 1988. I guess making a living and raising our families became our priorities as they should have. I never forgot him and the fun we had, especially in the old Burlington house. I will miss my old friend. Sleep well. To...

I always cared for Billy.....so sorry to hear of his passing.

I am sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I worked with Bill at the globe for 18 years we always had a lot of fun together. He was always quick to flash that million dollar smile of his. I will remember him fondly and think of him hitting those long jumpers from the conner when we played ball together. You and your family are in my prayers. God bless you and God bless Bill.

I also just learned of Bill's passing when I got the union's monthly letter. Very sorry to hear it and condolences to the family. When Bill worked at MIT I was one of the runners in the locker room that Bill and other bball players made light of. Later when we both worked at the Globe I always got along well with him and liked him. again - so sorry.
