William "Billy" Sottile

I remember Billy from the IOP back in the early 70's. Our family bought a house from the Bean family on Carolina Blvd. & Billy used to come to play with the Bean's. Since we added 4 more same age kids, we'd have ball games in the street. My father would sit on the porch and watch. I remember he liked Billy particularly. We all had a lot of fun. Sounds like Billy continued to enjoy life to the fullest. Jena McClellan Davis

Thanks to all who leave a kind note or a memory of my husband Billy. He was truly one of a kind and I am frateful that I got to call him my husband. If you knew him, you know he had a way of making people feel welcome. He truly never met a stranger. Within minutes of meeting someone, he could make them laugh, make them feel like an old friend. He was funny in a way that could brighten even the hardest days. He was kind in the quiet ways that mattered most. And he was loving and supportive....
