Read MoreRoberta: I was shocked and saddened by the news of Steve's passing. I'm so glad that I was able to contact you last year and learn of Steve's situation and whereabouts. That allowed his USAFA '60 classmates to reconnect with him and let him know that he was still a cherished member of the brotherhood. Thank you so much for that. Dear Roberta, Max and Joe,
So sorry to lose our friend Steve. Instant memories- meeting in law school, the ranch (turd pilot), many dinners out and at home,
always sage advice on many subjects, stories of his USAF flying, training UAL pilots to get it in the "box", after hour withdrawals, making me take the stick in my first flying lesson, and on and on and on.
We'll miss you Steve. Love Carole and Larry.............
