Read MoreNot every day when you meet someone you know you will be friends for the rest of your lives. Sonny and I spent 100s of hours hunting and fishing in our 30 plus years of friendship. I used to kid Sonny that fish feared us and the deer would hide in the swamps just knowing we were in the area. The light of the world will not be as bright without Sonny in it. RIP my good friend

I worked for Sonny Bishop when I was a teenager and as an adult we were great friends. Sonny was a true Southern Gentleman, Blessed with two wonderful wives Joyce and Betty,terrific sons and family. He had a fun personality ,was always a joy to be around, and he will be missed by all that knew him.

Sonny was a great friend. We hunted together for Dall sheep in the Ukon, deer in Texas, moose in British Columbia, turkey, deer and quail in many places. We sailed and fished together. We were real estate investment partners. I have never known a finer man and I will sorely miss him. Charlie Gray
