Not sure what to say?

Dear Family of Dr. Black,
Your husband, father, and grandfather will be deeply missed by the UNM Department of Pathology. I'd known Dr. Black since 1982, 35 years and still remember the first time I saw him at the old UNM Cancer Center, tying flies and teaching fly fishing on the weekend. What a diverse set of hobbies he pursued! Dr. Bill Black was revered and loved by the medical students, residents, staff and faculty. He was always cheerful, helpful, curious, kind and gentle. May the God of all comfort be with you and give you peace.

My deepest sympathy to you Linda and Bill's family. He was the one who hired me as a para-pro at Delton-Kellogg E. S...a job I loved. Bill was definitely a well-read man who will be fondly remembered as one who shared his expertise with many others. I lost my beloved husband, Graziano, June 12, 2017 from pancreatic cancer and am still in a state of sadness at his loss. May the Lord help us to overcome this sadness with a feeling of Joy, knowing we'll see them again. Hugs, Claudette and...

Prayers are lifted for all of you.

I met Bill Blackmore in 1999. Over the past 18 years he taught me a great deal about nature. He was unbelievably knowledgeable about trees, wild animals, especially deer. We often talked about politics and his most recent book, magazine, or newspaper. Linda, I offer my sincere condolences and wish you well. Rest assured that many people will remember Bill.

I believe I was a classmate of Bill's at Battle Creek Central...but had lost track of him...sounds like he had a long and productive life...my condolences to the family...Byron Hodgson

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.
