William Bliss

My family Lorena and Henry mueller knew him well. My grandparents worked for him for many years. Also my parents Howard and Beverly Hastings got permission to golf there. Myself , sister and 2 cousins worked there as well. Many fond memories. I Debra Hastings hung out with Jack Morgan many summers helping at the stables. Jack gave me his lucky rodeo scarf which I held onto for years as well a a pencil portrait someone drew of him.

The Erskine and the Moffits knew Bill Bliss during the early 60's when we all stayed at Glenbrook Inn and Ranch what wonderful memories. There will never be another Glenbrook Inn, Lake Tahoe was crystal clear you could see the bottom it was that clear. End of an era.

I am the daughter of Dr. And Mrs Edward Shaw. They took me to Glenbrook from age 3 (1948) until 1973 and I worked there summers 1964/5/6, I have so many wonderful memories of Bill and my time at Glenbrook. He was a wonderful friend and boss. I will miss Glenbrook forever. It is in my soul. Jennifer Shaw

Your beloved one will truly be missed. No doubt many appreciate the efforts and achievements he's made in his lifetime. God's word says, "A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth." So encouraging to all. (Ec 7:1)

My sincere condolences to your family. May God "who comforts us in all our trials" (2 Cor 1:4) comfort you and your family at such a difficult time. I know God will help you to endure because he cares for you (1Peter 5 :7).

Oh, did we love Uncle Bill! with such fond memories, Tricia, Chip, Sarah, Peter and Lily

I just wanted to pass along my condolences to the family. I was friends with Billy. We met in 2010. I called upon Bill when I was in Tahoe vacationing after Billy's passing to share stories and express my sympathies before the memorial at the yacht club. I will say a prayer for him.
