Not sure what to say?

To Sue and Family- I had the honor of attending the lovely service for Tony and was just in awe. Howard's homily could not have been more complete or wonderful. I will always remember Tony as a kind man who was willing to be silly and zany writing songs with my dad
for the first (and only) world congress of trampoline joggers out at our cabin...."tramp tramp lets all go joging each on a little trampoline...and the double "g" force feels so peachy keen!" I felt so fortunate to be there...

Tony was a wonderful part of my life, as the father of my best friend, Britta and close family friend he touched my lifein many great ways. My deepest love and sympathy to my dear life long friends Britta, Sue and Jamie... I am sorry I am not there to give you all a hug, but know I am thinking of you and loving you. I will never forget the ways in which Tony touched my life. He was a kind, peaceful and loving inspiration to so many.
My deepest sympathy and love, Matthew

I had the honor of knowing Tony Blodgett and his family when i went to Duluth to live as an exchange student. He was a real nice and warm person and he always made me laugh with his attemps to speak Spanish. Antonio: lo recordaré con mucho cariño y respeto...

Tony was truely a spiritual wonderful man, he loved it when the TEC kids did a service at Church, bringing the Spirit alive to all through their music with thier bongo's beating. I remember Tony saying to me after a TEC service, "do you feel the Power" and YES I did also. Tony's face was glowing, his smile big, a deep breath, taking in the moment. Tony kept that smile and glow through out his battle with colon cancer. Tony will truely be missed by all. Blessings to Sue, Britta and Jamie and...

We in the City of Duluth Building Safety Division, especially Housing Inspection, have had the honor of working with Tony over the years. We will miss his counsel, positive attitude and friendship. We extend our sympathy to his family, friends the large community of people whose life he touched.

My sincere condolences to Tony's loving family. I worked at the Duluth P.D. and Tony was "our attorney". His wit, sense of humor, kindness and fairness stood out on a daily basis. A friendly conversation with him was worth its weight in gold. I enjoyed watching him play the Sitar on T.V...there was no end to his talent. That guy fought a courageous battle and never complained. The world has lost a very special "gentleman." Rest in peace Tony.

I remember Tony and my dad, Joel Bamford, meeting for the First World Congress of Trampoline Joggers and their performance, of "Tramp, Tramp, Tramp, Let's all go jogging! Each on our little trampolines! And the double G-force feels so peachy keen!" at our cabin on Little Lake Pequaym. He was a lot of fun and a great friend to my Dad and I am so sad to hear of his passing. Prayers for Susan and family.

Tony was our Sunday school and confirmation teacher for years. He has had such an impact on both of our lives. He was the kind of guy that when he walked into a room he put a smile on your face. He has always made things so much fun, when we were young the Sunday school begged him to go to McDonalds and he took us all out for breakfast. Thats just how he was, always making sure we were in a good mood. No matter what kind of shape he was in he always had a great heart and saw the good in...

There are few people as genuinely kind and fair as Tony Blodgett was. If there were more people in the world with his sense of justice, it would be a better place. In his work and life, he served the people of Duluth with his many talents. He will be greatly missed by the legal community, especially by those of us who worked with (or even against) him on a daily basis. Peace be with you, Tony, and blessings to your family.
