Not sure what to say?

So sad to hear this news- his legacy will continue to impact the future. I have enjoyed getting to know Bill over the past several years and will miss him. His heart and mind were in all he did! He made a huge difference in my life and the work of The Salvation Army.

Bill was one of the first volunteers I met when I joined OHSU. He shared many stories about Doernbecher Children's Hospital and his time on their Board, and was always willing to help with advice about strategic giving and how to communicate it to the masses. He did so much for OHSU and our community. Please accept our sincere condolences. I will miss his kindness in orienting me to Portland and OHSU. Sincerely, Rochelle Makela-Goodman, OHSU Foundation

So sorry to hear the news. Your Dad was a very special man, a good man, and you can be proud of your name. God bless you all....prayers sent!

Thanks for everything, Bill. We're going to miss you. Sally, Craig and Sam

Dear Kevin and All of the Blount Family, My prayers and thoughts are with you at this time. I will always remember your father driving down Westmoor Way in one of his many classic cars, a smile on his face as he took one of his beauties out for a spin....I'm smiling as I type this -- it's brought back a happy memory. Peace to all of you as your celebrate your father's life. ~ Kate Chester

I am so sorry for your loss Susan & Brian. I'll miss Bill's humor & chats over my backyard fence. Brian, the greenhouse is still enjoyed & doing its job.

What a beautiful gift in the family you have given life to! May they all carry on as you did, living this life the Lod has provided!!! My smile is a blessing as you have won the race! Peace and Love! Amy & Jeff Dimm

Bill was a beautiful cheerful man. My mom, Janet enjoyed her marriage to him. He touched every one he met with his genuine interest and zest for life. He will be missed. Love to all the members of the Blount Family. Beth Franklin
