William Scott Blythe
60, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, July 16, 2012. Scott was born on October 1, 1951 in Indianapolis to Virginia (Foster) Blythe and the late Robert William (Bill) Blythe. Scott is a 1969 graduate of North Central High School. He also attended Indiana University. He married Leslie Dowen in 2004.
Scott was employed as a machine and tool salesman for many years. Scott was an Eagle Scout, a HAM radio operator, a member of White River Yacht Club, and enjoyed golfing.
Scott is survived by his wife, Leslie Blythe; his son, Josh Bourdo; mother, Virginia Blythe; sister, Lynn Jung (Dean); step-son, Joshua Hughes (Tina); step-daughter, Lauren Waite (Ben); and 3 grandchildren, Brody Andress, Ryan Hughes, and Olivia Hughes.
Scott was preceded in death by his father Bill Blythe.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 20, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Leppert Mortuary, Nora Chapel . The funeral will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Internment will be held in Crown View Cemetery, Sheridan, following the service.
