I was a choir student of Mr. Bobolis at Sac High. I was just thinking of him and wondered what he was doing. I was so sorry to hear about his passing. He was an awesome teacher! I had him all four years in high school. When I was having a bad at school, he would "turn his head" as I would hang out in the choir room and sing and play piano with a good friend. i remember mr. bobolis, when he was at brockbank jr. high. never forgot him. he's the reason i still sing today.

My deepest condolences to you Mrs. Bobolis, Stephanie, Kristie and my dear Jamie. Mr. Bill was larger then life to me. As a child I was in awe of his big, beautiful voice and equally big laugh and spirit. His presence was always kind, calm and grounding. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and tremendous talent. My love to you all.

Sal Damiani and Victor Damiani -sal in jazz choir and Victor in recording; arts- Victor, Greg Brown and Tod Roper were inspired by the program and ended up in the famous band CAKE. I first met Bill when observing him conduct his talented choir at the annual Choir Federation conferences that took place around California. The Sacramento Annunciation Greek Orthodox choir was by far the largest and most active of all the choirs gathering for this event, and it was always a delight to see what Bill had planned for them to perform.
