Not sure what to say?

Peppered throughout this vast land of Brazil stand church buildings in which thousands of believers meet to study and preach God´s Word. In a way, I now see these as quiet unclaimed memorials erected in our cities, towns, and villages, to a man with whom I laughed and weeped over a people he loves.

Mr. Bolthouse was greatly used of God to reach many Brazilians for Jesus Christ through his generous giving to various works in Brazil. His giving only demonstrated what was in his heart -- a desire to see people saved and growing in the things of the Lord. Mr Bolthouse was a man of God who sought to please his God in all he did. Thank you for your example.

Primeira Igreja Batista Regular de Aracati, Ceara Brazil

Along with the Brazilian believers, we will ever be thankful for Bill Bolthouse and the investment he made in the lives of the people of 1st Regular Baptist Church of Aracati, Ceara, Brazil. Brother Bolthouse helped us in a significant and timely manner as we worked together to spread the Good News of Salvation in Jesus Christ.

Our sincere condolences in the loss of Wm. Bolthouse. Betty met Mr. and Mrs. Bolthouse in 1977 while on deputation to go to Brazil as a missionary. They provided the last of the needed support and outfit and passage. Betty married Ron in 1980 and they continued to help us in our church planting ministry in Brazil. It was a thrill for us to have them visit our work in Joao Pessoa, Paraiba. Their fellowship and loving support will be fondly remembered and always appreciated.

I enjoyed knowing Bill Bolthouse and admired his zeal for the construction of churches in Brazil. I will never forget a trip that I made to Brazil with him in 1994. As we traveled throughout Brazil, visiting construction sites we had many enjoyable times together.

Mr. Bolthouse was a great blessing to our family and the hundreds of Brazilians who attend the churches he helped build.

We praise God for Mr. Bolthouse and all he did for church planting here in Brazil. Many congregations have beautiful places to worship because of his generosity. We are praying for his family.

We had the privilege of meeting Mr. Bolthouse when he came through Uberaba in 1998. At that time, he approved the funds for helping build Faith Baptist Church. We are greatly indebted to him.....as are many missionaries in Brazil. Because of his genuine interest in seeing souls won to the Lord and his generous giving to help build fundamental Baptist churches, many in Brazil have been saved and discipled. We are deeply grateful for all that has been accomplished in Brazil through Mr. and Mrs....

To the family of Brother Bolthouse,

We, the Brazil Field of Baptist Mid-Missions, have many living memorials of your loved one's vision and burden. We are eternally grateful for the help he gave to our field by helping so many mission churches with their buildings. It has been an encouragement to the believers and a great boost to the outreach. May the God of all comfort continue to show His grace and love during this time of loss of both Mr. & Mrs. Bolthouse.
