Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest sympathy. We at Sears who "grew up" will Bill, know how knowledgable and dear he was.

We all have many fond memories of Bill.

I worked for Bill for many years at Sears. I remember he was a stickler for detail - everything had to be initialed and dated. I remember his distinctive script (he should have been a doctor). I remember his love of the West - his annual trips to the ranch in Colorado. ...his love of gardening and battling the squirrels burying acorns in his back yard. He was a good man and I am glad he was part of my life.

Our deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband. Each time Mr. Borchers arrived in our office he brought smiles to our faces. We will truly miss his sense of humor and friendship. If there is anything we can do for you and your family, please don't hesitate to call.
Sincerely,
Dr. Chavez and Staff

We were elementary school-chums 84 years ago in a little Ohio town by the name Amanda. Our recent revival of exchanging letters was a great joy to me.

First, let me say how sorry I am to hear of Bill's passing. As a Village Trustee of Winfield, I can tell you we will miss seeing him at our Village Board meetings. I have been on the Village Board since 1991 and when Mr. Borcher attended and spoke - people listened.....his presence was known. Again, my sympathies. - Rudy Czech

I am truly sorry to hear of your loss. I remember meeting him once and thought he was a very gentle man.

Hi Jill and Steve,

We heard about your Dad's passing this morning. I have notified some of the current and former staff people.

Hope you and the family are doing well under the circumstances. I will try to attend the memorial service and look forward to seeing all of you.

It was my priviledge to know Bill Borchers when he was the Merchandise Controller for D/626 and I was a Gateway Coordinator in D/760 stationed at Whirlpool Corporation in Benton Harbor MI. We always looked forward to Bill's twice monthly visits to Benton Harbor, enjoying his direction, input and humor. He was a good person and very supportive of my efforts to support the business.
