Read MoreWe lived around the corner from each other as kids and went to Blessed Sacrament together. We were in the same Boy Scout troop together. We recently re-established contact this year and I sent a text back in October and on Thanksgiving Day but received no reply. Sunday I was informed he had passed . We will meet again old friend , Rest in Heaven! Well done .

As a rookie Patrolman I was often partnered with Bill. I learned much from his policing style which was best described as fair, compassionate, and above all, professional. His humor and wit were an added bonus. Rest in Peace brother!
