Not sure what to say?

Our sincere sympathies to the family. We remember Mr. Bort and the family from when we lived in Kensington, many years ago, and they were our neighbors on Howard Avenue. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.

Pastor Bort was such a wonderful man, he had been such a blessing as pastor of Kendall Baptist Church. He withstood opposition in the face of adversity, with faith and strength. He laid the foundation at Kendall that anyone who was called to lead there could follow, if truly led by the Lord. He will be missed on earth, yet his rewards in Heaven will far outweigh what was left here on Earth. Gone to his reward;"Well done, my good and faithful servant". To his wife and family, thank you for...

Rest in PEASE.All my love and prayers to

To Mari Lou and the Bort family,

This is sending sincere condolences to you and your family. Pastor Bort was my pastor for over 20 something years. He was a kind and compassionate man who always prayed for you and was very concerned about souls being saved. He never cared about how much money he made, but he cared about people and his congregation. If you were missing from church two Sundays, he be on the phone calling to see about you. I really believed that he was a good husband,...
