William Vernon Bowen

Vernon was THE craft-school exceptional-student/assistant-extraorinaire! I have appreciated Vernon for many years as a sidekick in fiber arts. I consider Vernon and Anita to be good friends of mine: folks who have been consistent and supportive over the years. I have known Vernon for many years and he was a great friend and co-worker. He will be greatly missed at Arrowmont. I have several of his shirts and scarves. You all are in my thoughts and prayer's. Jeff Webb.

Met Vernon through pottery. Discovered that he had worked on a surveyor crew and had originally surveyed our property. Also discovered Anita was a quilter with my mom. Will miss Vernon greatly, especially the armadillos.

Friendly, working in the kitchen at Arrowmont. Wonderful person.
