Not sure what to say?

We worked together at U.S. Army Pacific 2003-2004.

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs. Brandenburg and the entire Brandenburg family. I only was just told of Gen Brandenburg's passing. I worked for Gen. Brandenburg when I was on the V Corps Staff. A true gentleman has left us.

Bill and I were good friends in elementary school (Walter Reed, Arlington Virginia). I still remember the day they moved. Several of us came to their house to say farewell. It was a sad day. I wasn’t at all surprised to see that he went to school at the Citadel, served in the military and was a commanding officer. It was in his DNA and I’m sure his father would be proud.

General Bill and I were roommates together at The Citaldel for three semesters. He was a great young man and friend. My last contact was when he was in Iraq. I will forever remember my friend from long ago. RIP

My name is Rob Vail and Billy was my next door neighbor in Dambach Germany in 1966. His father was one of my dad's BN Commanders. Rest in peace Bill, your parents would be proud of what you contributed to the nation.

Billy was my next door neighbor in Dambach Germany. His father was one of my father's BN commanders. A fine family, he lost his mother while we were there and it steeled their family. Tremendous careers, great people, examples we should admire and allow to inspire us. RLTW

Best CO a dog faced soldier could ask for.

I served with MG Brandenburg in USARPAC from 2003-2006. He was our DCG, LTG Jim Campbell was CG, and I the CSM. Kim and I lived a few houses down from him and Sybil on Palm Circle. He was a great Leader and Soldier, I shared many a Golf carts with him in the Saturday morning gaggle. I pray for Gods grace and comfort to Ms. Sybil and his entire family. RIP my friend and keep it in Heavens fairway.
