William Brinker Obituary
passed away on January 3, 2026. Born in Columbus, Ohio, Bill married Eileen Brinker in 1958. They moved to Florida in 1964, where they raised their family. Bill was the Head Coach of the Seminole High School baseball team for 29 years, and the Defensive Coordinator for the Seminole High School football team for 15 years. He amassed 15 District Championships and was highly regarded in the community by players and parents. In 2016, the field was officially named after Coach Brinker. Upon retiring, he assisted the St. Pete College baseball team, to continue his love of the sport. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen; and survived by his sons, Terry (Dana), Gary, Barry (Tammy); daughter, Cynthia Brinker Brakeman; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great- great- grandchildren. Memorial service to be announced.

Dearest Brinker Family,
My deepest sympathy to you all on the loss of your Dad. I have many fond, happy and wonderful memories from our childhood growing up together in the same neighborhood. Back in the days when Moms stayed home and all of them looked out for the neighborhood kids (and told on you if need be). Our parents were friends especially our Mom´s since their work days centered at home. For many years into adulthood we stayed in communication since I own a house just around the corner. It was always a pleasure to speak with them. I am so grateful for the honor of knowing them for so many years and
