William P. Britsch Jr.

Mr. William P. Britsch, Jr., 81, a resident of The Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville, PA, and formerly of 11475 Pine Hill Drive, Waynesboro, died at 4:00 A.M., Saturday, February 19, 2011, in the nursing home. Born February 15, 1930 in Waynesboro, he was the son of the late William P. Britsch, Sr. and Edna (Manns) Britsch. Mr. Britsch graduated from Waynesboro High School with the class of 1948. He later served with the United States Navy during the Korean War. He retired as the head of maintenance at Grove Funeral Home, Waynesboro. Mr. Britsch is survived by one son, William C. Britsch of Waynesboro; one step-son Jeffrey L. Mace of Waynesboro; two grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris W. "Dot" (Warner) Britsch; his second wife, Irene C. (Myers) Mace Britsch; one sister, Barbara A. Grove; and one brother, Robert B. Britsch. Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family. Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, Waynesboro, is handling the arrangements.
