Head of Mission at the Am embassy Tel Aviv whe I worked there. A man of the people. He commanded respect and always had a kind word even for this low level FSN. His dear wife Helen RIP, was everyone's friend. No airs and graces, she oozed warmth and class. May their children and grandchildren bask in the warmth of their memories. On behalf of my now deceased husband, Robert W. Sennewald General USA: He and Ambassador Brown served on an advisory panel for the CIA. They treasured one another and gathered for years. We last saw Bill at my husband's services and were very honored to have him and his daughter present. Wishing him a safe last voyage to end a life well lived. Mrs Susan Horne Sennewald

Bill inspired me to want to become a diplomat, Joanna got me to take the Foreign Service exam, and Helen taught me the secret to career advancement...

When my friend, and I were walking in NYC's West Village she showed me the Official Photos with his family witnessing of him being awarded the ambassadorship to Thailand by...
