I will miss his smile. He was so smart, loving and funny. I will appreciate the minerals at Franklin mine museum in a new way. Every time I look at a sunset, I will think of him.

To Bill's family, take heart that his efforts and dedication helped protect the State's natural resources, especially the State's water resources. I was fortunate to know him through such efforts and have many memories of water planning meetings and discussions with Bill.

Bill was a good neighbor( Betty still is). Bill will be remembered especially for his intelligent mind and subtle sardonic wit. He will be greatly missed.

Aunt Betty and Stewart, you are both in my thoughts and prayers. It is so hard to put my thoughts into words. Uncle Bill was so smart, I always believed he could do anything he set his mind to. Sending you both hugs!

Betty, I was so sad to see this in the paper. You guys have always been special to me and I will miss his sarcasm and talking sports. He was a fine, fine, man. One of the smartest people I've ever known.
