Crofts-Crow Funeral Home - Johnson City Obituary

William “Bubba” Stockton Wolf, Jr., 62, of Austin, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2019 in Hye, Texas.

Bubba was born on December 5, 1956, in Austin, Texas to Louetta Lange Wolf and William “Bill” Stockton Wolf.  He graduated from Crockett High School in Austin in 1975 where he was an All-District Middle Linebacker for the Cougars.  After graduation, he attended Lamar University in Beaumont on an athletic scholarship playing linebacker for the Lamar University Cardinals.  Bubba loved to hunt, fish, and watch car racing in any form.  In his early years, racing cars and going on hunting excursions with friends were his greatest passions. After his retirement from racing, he continued to frequent the local tracks where he would watch and support his lifelong friends. Throughout his life, he diligently kept up with all of his friends, calling to check up on them, and visiting them when he could.  He loved his family; his wife, children, grandchildren, and all of his friends who he also considered family.  He will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

He is survived by his wife of forty years, Belinda Lawson Wolf of Austin; children, Derek Stockton Wolf and his wife Laura of San Antonio; Delanie Wolf and Dylan Moses of Dripping Springs and their children, Presley Wolf and Jace Moses of Dripping Springs; his mother, Louetta Lange Felps of Johnson City; sister, Brenda Wolf of Leander.  Bubba was preceded in death by his father, William Stockton Wolf, Sr.

A Chapel Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas with burial to follow at Wilke Cemetery in Albert, TX.
