Not sure what to say?

Bill Buck's Love for baseball and Zeta Psi is something I will always remember. As a young elder of Zeta Psi Fraternity I had the opportunity to meet Bill at a Phillies game. I'll never forget sitting next to him at the game and hearing him talk about the team and his experiences as a Zete with such passion. The Phillies did not win that night, but his advice about giving back I will never forget. At the end of the game I asked him for an autograph on a baseball I had purchased at the game. ...

Single Memorial Tree

On behalf of all of us at The Haverford School, we mourn the loss of Bill Buck '46 and our hearts go out to Laura and all Buck family members. One of my favorite stories that Bill proudly told is the performance he had scoring all seven points in a football game against EA and the headline in the local paper read "Buck 7 - EA 0." #BeatEA Most important is that Bill was a champion of and for others. His and Laura's and the family's support of scholarships, the arts and our Doc Thomas '23 Golf...

Laura Scott and I send our deepest condolences to you and your family upon Bill's passing. He was such a kind and generous man. We cherish the memories of dining with you and Bill. Scott and Richard Shuhany

My sincerest condolences to the Buck Family!!!!!!!!!

I would like to thank and remember Bill and Laura Buck for their generosity in endowing the Doc Thomas Scholarship. My son was a past recipient. What a tremendous honor that was mutually beneficial for him, The School and society at large. So glad that your father is honored in this way, Laura. His spirit and Bill´s live on in the trajectory of the lives nurtured and changed by these two gentlemen and you via the Doc Thomas Award. The Buck clan is first class all the way and Bill embodied all...

Bill Buck was one of a kind. He was beloved and always very generous with his thoughts and advice. You and your red sweater will be missed.

A big heart and even bigger smile with a wonderful and positive outlook on life. I was blessed to have "Uncle" Bill as my godfather. He and "Aunt" Laura were true friends of my parents and family to me and brother and sister since I was born. A kind, generous and humble man he did far more than any memorial or obituary could ever hope to include. When I was young he took care to make sure I kept out of trouble and watched over me on joint vacations. I will especially miss our catch ups...

Sending my sincere condolences to the Buck family. Laurie and Sam Marshall are dear next door neighbors to me and I send them my best. Losing a parent is never easy. Rest In Peace, Mr. Buck.
