Not sure what to say?

It is with deep sadness to learn that Bill has passed on. He was a driver for our agency, Jewish Family Service, for several years and loved by all, staff and clients alike. He was a great driver and a wonderful man. I speak for all here at JFS in extending our deepest sympathy to his family. Sincerely, Linda Haddad,
Transportation Supervisor.

I will miss Bill. He meant so much to me since we met. We had wonderful time together sharing our knowledge, experiences and his great accomplishments. He was unique and intelligent person with a sense of humor. Bill, his three caring daughters and son Luke became a family to me. I will never forget William Buckett.

I met Bill a few years ago when our son's both played soccer with the Jr. Rhino's. Bill loved to watch Luke play soccer. It was always a joy to engage Bill in conversation about horses, baseball, life, or just about anything. Those days at Brighton Sports sitting on the benches watching Luke and the boys will always stay with me. Bill was part of our men's therapy group that could solve the issues of the day. He was a true gentleman, friend, and I enjoyed all the special moments on the...

Bill Buckett was one of the Memorial Art Gallery's finest leaders---as Board President, committee participant, creative designer and all-around supporter of Gallery activities and, equally significant, the Gallery's fine staff. He led with creative insight and a caring spirit. He was truly a "Renaissance Man" who could wax poetically on Quaker aesthetics or the Brooklyn Dodgers. He was one of a kind....he was beloved by all at the MAG.

Bill in his garden

Bill was a rare and wonderful human being, and I am so happy to have had him as a mentor and a close friend. He was a fantastic listener, wonderfully optimistic, and one of the most loving and accepting people I've known.

Bill helped me look forward to growing old, because he did so with such grace and dignity. Bill was an enormous talent with tremendous personal ethics and character. And one of the last great charming "gentleman" in Rochester.

I will always treasure the...

We are deeply saddened by Bill's passing. He was a great neighbor and a superb gentleman. His love for his son Luke and love for life was always evident in everything he did. We will miss him.

Bill was the essence of what I believe is a "good man". He was kind, thoughtful, and articulate. The sound of his voice will be one of my enduring memories of him- lilting, positive, upbeat.

He brought so much to the community he lived in and will be sorely missed.

We are sad to read of Bill's death and extend our condolences to all his children. Bill was a talented man but I remember him best as one with extremely fine tuned sense of humor. It was a pleasure to have known him.
