Our deepest condolences to Billy's family and friends. I remember watching him wrestle and his running back days and the leadership and the curls and the great attitude and effort and success. He was always a winner. And reading comments from others who know him well I am not surprised by how loved he was and will always be. May the Lord keep him, and bless him. And may all those that knew him well rememeber him forever in the spirit in which he lived. It's clear he touched many hearts and...

Mathew & Adam wrestled with Billy in Haslett (not bad to for two Okemos boys)back in the mid 90's. Billy was a spark that made wrestling a passion in life for for both Matthew & Adam. As a second grader Matthew and Billy wrestled together in the then Okemos Free Style Team. Adam joined Haslett wrestling as pre-K 4 year old. Miss those days and Adam (1992-2009) & now Billy so much. Well we know know that heaven has a great wrestling team.

Billy was the most kind and caring human I have ever met. I met him while working at Olive garden and I will never forget the way he made you feel when he walked into a room. Positivity surrounded him, he could make you feel like you were the only person in the room while simultaneously making every person in the room feel that way. His spirit and kindness was immeasurable. I will miss him until the day I am allowed to see him again.

I will never, ever forget Billy. He made the world a brighter place as he willingly shared his spirit during his time in the nursing program. I wish we could all be there in person to let you know how blessed and privileged the CWC nursing faculty feel to have known Billy. Please know you have been in our thoughts and prayers constantly and will continue to be in the difficult days ahead.
