I was very sad to hear of Coach Burke's passing. He was my football coach at Zachary. He was a good man and a good coach. I still smile when I think about some of his sayings and mannerisms. Praying that God will bless his family with peace and comfort.

It was an honor and pleasure to work with Coach Burke at Central Private. He expected great things from his students, and he expected great behavior for the young men he coached. He will be greatly missed, but I know he has happy to be back with Linda. Prayers to his family.
