Not sure what to say?

I knew Dr. Burns for 17 years. I married his grand daughter Jennifer(Bonnie's Daughter). I have always said that I thought he was one of the finest gentlemen I had ever met. I know how much Bonnie will miss him as well as Brett and Jennifer her children. But Tom,Heather,Kail Madison, and I will also miss him dearly. We will think of you often Dr. Burns. We Love you Mark

To the Burns' Family
A Man with compasion and feelings for his patients He delivered my daughter 48 years ago and my oldest grandson 22 years ago Never did his love for his patients change
There was no one like him
I can remember him telling me after his retirement how he was riding a dirt motor cycyle and he was just grinning from ear to ear (I am a motor cyclist)
What a remarkable man, mentor, doctor, friend, grandfather, to all
You are all very priviledged people to...

"My Grandpa the Hero"
And that's exactly what he was.

He exuded a modest brilliance, and was perfectly content observing all the grandchildren and family interacting.

Not too long ago he and I were visiting together and were talking about our "weekends out with Grandpa." He said to me, "Remember when I would take you kids to the capitol to run around the fountains?" And then I said, "Yes! And then you took us to 3Bs for ice cream and THEN to the camp hill market and...

To the Burns Family:
Dr. Burns was a wonderful human being and doctor. He was my hero in 1979 after I lost a child in pregnancy after the TMI accident. He was kind and caring through my next pregnancy as I laid in bed for 6 months, but finally delivered a healthy baby girl. I then went on to have a second child, a son, through more of his care and concern. Many weeks he was the only person I saw besides my husband when I went for check-ups. I'm sure my story is not unusual as you...

Dr. Burns was my step-grandfather, but he was the only grandfather on my dad's side i knew and was loved by all his step-grandchildren so much. He taught me so much through the years and had so much to offer. He was a wonderful man and I have been blessed to get to know his as much as i have. He will be missed greatly by all his family members.

You have my deepest sympathy. Dr. Burns was my doctor from 1962 until his retirement. If it wouldn't have been for him I don't think I would have my son. I was a high risk patient and through his wonderful care I was able to have a child. After the c-section he came in to me and held my hand. That small gesture was so caring and I have never forgotten it.

My father-in-law, "D.B" was a truly perfect human being. All through my marriage to his son, Tom, and through the years after Tom's death, D.B was a faithful, strong support to me and my children. I will miss him greatly...

To the Burns Extended Family:

I have great affection for Dr. B. as he delivered me on Aug 4, 1961. His partner delivered my brother 6 years earlier. I later had the pleasure of meeting him in adulthood as I briefly was a patient of the practice. He leaves a beautiful legacy of souls which he helped enter this world. My you find strength in your higher power and comfort in your memories.
God Bless,

I met Dr. Burns when he married my friend, Anna's mom some 36 years ago. I was blessed to have spent time in their home and it was always great fun. And then after I was married, Dr. Burns delivered my son, Zachary. He was so kind and considerate to a very worried and nervous 23 year old. Dr. Burns put us at ease. He was a wonderful doctor and a kind human being. God Bless
