BURTON, Mr. William E., 68, of Henrico, Va., formerly of Powhatan, Va., departed this life Sunday, December 19, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Erma Burton. He is survived by his devoted wife, Vera B. Burton; two sons, William E. Trent and Carlo Robinson (Demetria); four daughters, Sharon Finney, Tywana Robinson, Michelle Haywood (Lenso) and Portia Walters; 14 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence (Linda) and Calvin Burton (Mary); three sisters, Celestine Cox (Preston), Thelma Burton and Brenda Atkins (Charles); one aunt, Lelia Cox; stepmother, Margaret M. Burton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. His remains rest at the Robert Mealy Funeral Home, Goochland, Va. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Rising Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 2705 Hartman St., Richmond, Va. Rev. Roscoe Cooper III officiating. Interment Roselawn Memory Gardens, Glen Allen, Va.
