Not sure what to say?

Dear Dee and Family,
I just heard of Bills passing. I knew him for so many years and always enjoyed the Jackson Reunions.
May God give you strength at this trying time. Gregg Iverson, Jackson Staff, 1973- 1960.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. Mr Buth was my German teacher at Jackson Jr High. I fondly remember my first trip to Germany in 1983 with his wife and their daugther Nancy. That trip led to a friendship with the family that I stayed with that continues today. Thank you Herr Buth. You have made a lasting impression in my life.

The poem is for my Uncle, who when I was a little girl, would give me a quarter if I told him he looked like he lost weight. My deepest sympathies for David, Beth, Lynn, David and Kevin. And for his long time best friend and wife, my Aunt Dee. It all makes me wish we would have spent more time together.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My sympathies on your loss. Mr. Buth was my German teacher at Jackson Junior High School in the late 70s. I remember him as a very passionate teacher who cared about his students. Only a few teachers made a lasting impression on me thoughout my school years, and Herr Buth was one of them. Peace.

Dear Dee and Family, the Joyce family, and all of Pilgrim House UU Fellowship, are deeply sad about Bill's death. We love you both very much, and remember so many good times together! PH will light a candle, once again, for Bill on June 4--and will keep the memories always. Watch the PH Newsletter this fall, also, for a memorial to Bill and the Buth role in the creation of PH.

Ed, Wayne and Fred and I all wish we could have had that special time together with Bill on Saturday, but...

I am very sorry for your loss. Bill was truly respected by all.

Take care, glenda koelln
