Not sure what to say?

To the Buursma family. I grew up in Munster, Indiana where your father served. Our family always enjoyed him as their pastor.

To the Buursma family: without the Buursmas our entire family would still be in the country of Holland. God bless all of you and may America bless God. I loved Rev. Buursma and his wife. I thank God for all they did for us.

Our condolences go out to Mark, Debbie, and the entire Buursma family in your loss. Mark, we hope the many great memories of your Dad will help comfort you and your family during this time.

My Pastor at Bethal CRC Will be missed by many

Dear Buursma family: I spent a great deal of time with your dad while in leadership at Third CRC in Kalamazoo. Many good laughs and more than a few more serious moments. I always respected his dedication to his heritage and his church. I know you will miss him dearly. Please accept my sincere sympathy on your loss.

Dear Buursma Family, I have very fond memories of your dad while at Bethel and deeply appreciated his leadership.
Several yrs ago, He gave me his thanks for a GR Press article I had written taking to task certain churches that have politicians give speeches during the sunday service. Apparently that bugged your dad also to no end. He then said something to me that no one had ever said," Jack, I am so proud of you". That will stay w/ me til I meet him again. Jack Holtvluwer

Dear Buursma family,

The Pater family owes a lot to your dad. He changed the destiny of our family by sponsoring us to come to the USA in 1956 against the advice given at the time. There were 8 children and precious little money. With his guidance and God's help we made it. Rev. Buursma will always be the Pastor of the Pater family and may his memory be eternal.

I would like to represent the Muizelaar family (long time members at Bethel) and express our sincere sympathy to Bruce, Dirk, Mark and your families during this sad time. Our parents became good friends with Pastor and Mrs Buursma since they had a special "Frisian" bond. Thank you for sharing your parents with us in their faithful ministry for shepherding His people.

I see a great deal of your father in you Bruce (including that wonderful smile!). We are rejoicing in his reunion with your mother.
