Not sure what to say?

A year has passed, hopefully the hurt has lessened but good memories remain.

To Nancy and Family my sincere condolences for your loss of Bill. I remember seeing you both just a year ago at West Rock in New Haven. I will always remember Bill for his guidance in showing me my first Early Hairstreak and Arctic Skipper Bill Van Loan, Darien ,Conn.

Although we did not personally know Bill, we learned he loved butterflies so we made a donation to the National Butterfly Center in his memory. And to further honor him we ordered a memorial tree to be planted on his behalf. We know this is a difficult time for all of the family and pray that in time your hearts will all heel. Much love and sympathy.

Memorial Tree

Nancy and family, I offer my sincere condolences to all in the loss of Bill. I am fortunate to have worked along side him for many years at Chicopee. He is truly a dedicated and Sincere man! So sorry

Dear Anne and family, We are so very sorry for the loss your brother. We send our deepest sympathies to you and your whole family. Love, Monica

I am so very sorry you have lost such an endearing person in your life. Billy will search for different species of butterflies in his new home. Just maybe he will see everyone that he loves that went there before him.

My deepest sympathies. I graduated with him from HHS and he was a great guy. May he RIP
