Not sure what to say?

I taught at Our Lady of the Wayside until 2005. Bill was most generous with his time and talent, always there when I needed him whether it was to hang a white board or unlock a cabinet. I know he will be missed at OLW. Blessing to his family. Bridget Niemiec

Bill & I worked very closely together for nearly 10 years at Our Lady of the Wayside Parish. He was truly a "jack of all trades". It was a pleasure to work with him and I certainly could not have done my job without him. He was a real gentleman and will definitely be misssed by all who knew him at Wayside. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Retired Assistant Business Manager

I hired Bill at Wayside many years ago... before we hired Frank Cassidy to be our first Business Manager. We worked together closely to learn the nuances of the Wayside Parish facility maintenance requirements and were a "maintenance team" for a couple years. Lucky for me to get to know Bill like I did... he was a very special person that I knew would be Wayside's greatest asset for many years to come. That proved true in a short amount of time! I am truly sorry that I didn't get a chance to...

I worked with Bill for over 15 years at OLW. He was truly a wonderful and caring person. He was concerned about making sure everything was fine for the staff and students throughout the school day. He will truly be missed by all of us. My sympathy to his family and friends.

I was a student at Our Lady of the Wayside and I have many memories of Mr. Campbell. After finding out I was a White Sox fan, he would always have time to talk to myself and some friends about the White Sox.

My sincere sympathy to Mr. Campbell's family and friends.

Bill was a wonderful person. He could fix almost anything. He was so funny especially with his imitations of Sr. Eulalia. He was and is highly regarded by the staff at Wayside. What a terrible loss.

"William", even "Bill" seem too formal for this friendly, young-at-heart man. Billy, the wonderful guy who could be insanely comedic, was my cousin. His fun ways and sincere closeness made being with him one of the absolute highlights of my brothers' and my lives growing up. Billy could pull stunts that kept you saying, "I don't believe he did that!", making you laugh until you cried. They made for extremely fond memories. The hardest thing to leave behind when we left Roselle to return to...

I worked just down the hall from Bill Campbell's office at Our Lady of the Wayside School for many years. He was the best "next door neighbor" to me in the school library. Quiet and unassuming, Bill did a wonderful job taking care of the buildings and all the staff at Our Lady of the Wayside School. My deepest sympathy to his family.
