William D. (Billy) Campbell, of Easley, passed away suddenly at his home on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Billy was born on June 13, 1951, in Easley, South Carolina. He graduated from Easley High School in 1969 and received an A.S. degree from Greenville Tech in 1971. He worked for numerous engineering firms as a mechanical and piping designer. Billy loved watching Western movies and NASCAR . He loved fast cars, motorcycles, waterskiing, and his pets. He had a great sense of humor and a big heart and always enjoyed doing for others. Billy was preceded in death by his father, William D. (Red) Campbell, mother, Margaret Smith Campbell and daughter Aimee Campbell Hrehowsik. He is survived by daughter Tracy Campbell Wike, grandsons, Greyson and Ellis Wike of Greer; son-in-law, Ryan Hrehowsik and grandsons, Andrew, Aiden and Zachary Hrehowsik of Edison, NJ.; sister, Gayle (Otis) McCracken of Boerne, Texas; nephews Chris and John McCracken and niece Holly McCracken Quartaro of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 2, 2021, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with burial to follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorials can be made to the Pickens County Humane Society, P.O.
