Not sure what to say?

Colonel Cann was PMS&T at NLSC when I attended from 1954-1957. I was the first veteran cadet. Colonel Cann had a great influence on my following twenty-seven year career in the army. I owe much to Colonel Cann for this guidance and friendship.

Family,
I did not know Mr. Cann, however, in reading the Newsstar I was overcome with love and appreciation for the man that he was, and what he did for our country. I have no doubt that he was very special to all of you. You have my sympathies, but he lived a full life and is now with our GOD in heaven.
Sincerely, R. Tubbs

I served on the Public Trust Financing Authority with Derwood Cann since 1987. He was always the consummate gentleman but had a keen mind and would ask the pertinent questions about the business we were discussing. We will miss him. VIolet L. Liner, CPA

A true gentleman and a fine person. I'm glad I got to meet Mr. Cann
