Dear Carlile Family, and particularly Maria,
I was terribly saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I just returned from 5 weeks in Chile, and had an email and other notices from The Bohemian Club and individual Bohemians letting me know that Bill had passed. I was shocked, as I was not aware of any illness.
I am so very sorry to have missed the memorial service. Bill was the most energetic and enthusiastic guy! Always a smile and a good word. What a great man.
