William Andrew Carron

William (Bill) Andrew Carron, age 70, of Tempe, AZ, died on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025. A celebration of life in honor of Bill will be held at Dayspring Methodist Church on 11/1/2025 at 11:00am. Other arrangements are being handled by Tempe Mortuary. Bill was born on October 14th, 1954 in Casa Grande, AZ to Paul and Hildalee Carron. He married Christine (Christy) Owen-Carron on July 22nd, 1984.

Bill was a naturally curious person who was always eager to learn more. This was demonstrated most prominently in his passion for music. After first picking up the guitar at age 13, he went on to have a decades-long career as a musician. During this time, he performed in numerous bands, writing and recording music all the while. Bill’s guitars were never far from reach,  serving as additional appendages from which his musical talent flowed with ease and skill. His vocal aptitude completed the package. Bill’s love for music drew him to a wide variety of genres and live performances outside of his own work. In addition to music, Bill also worked in sales at Perfect Image (1996-2007), Specialty Graphics, Inc. (2008-2016), and Antique Electronic Supply (2016-2021). His other hobbies and interests included gardening, history, art, travel, Diamondbacks baseball, Suns basketball, and spending time with family and friends. Anyone who met Bill immediately recognized his quick wit and sense of humor, endearing him to all.

Surviving is his wife of 40 years, Christine (Christy) Owen-Carron; daughter, Rachel Carron; brother and sister-in-law Terry and Darlene Owen; brother and sister-in-law Michael and Carla Owen; brother and sister-in-law Tim and Ananda Owen; sister and brother-in-law Cathy and Jim Krampe; sister-in-law Nina Carron; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends and brothers in music, John Heath, Jim Jordan, Clay Harper, and Dan Fraley. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Hildalee Carron; sister, Bette Carron, brother, Gene Carron; niece, Deborah (Dede) Teeler; niece, Julie Carron; and father and mother-in-law, Carroll and Louise Owen.
